Bought by Vertu Motors in 2007, Vertu Honda is a long-standing business which began back in 1996 in Lincolnshire.

Since the company has started, they have grown to have nine dealerships and become one of the UK’s premier car retail franchises and the largest single Honda group within the UK.

Car Promotion in the Bridges Sunderland Shopping Centre

During a recent event in March 2019 in The Bridges Shopping Centre, Sunderland, Vertu Honda displayed three cars in the promotional space in Central Square including a Honda Jazz and Honda Civic. During the shopping centre car placement promotion, Vertu Honda’s mission was to promote and raise awareness of the brand, generate leads of interested shoppers, as well as gather consumer information and feedback regarding the campaign.

Car Promotion Results

From this car promotion campaign, Vertu Honda managed to book 24 test drives across both car models. The brand ambassadors also distributed 39 brochures to consumers, and a total of 63 leads were generated.

Over 140 consumers sat in the cars to get an idea of what they are like. In addition, over 30 photos were taken and there was a over 210 conversations had during the event.

Vertu Honda’s Marketing Manager, Emma Scott stated that “The Honda Jazz was well received by current Honda owners and new prospectus customers. We also had multiple positive interactions with previous customers of Honda Sunderland”.
