Job Title: Venue Strategy Assistant

SpaceandPeople is seeking an organised and commercially aware Assistant to support the delivery of commercialisation services for venues under SpaceandPeople’s management.

This role will provide analytical, reporting, and operational support across a portfolio of centres, helping to assess commercialisation performance, prepare insight-led documents and coordinate engagement between the SpaceandPeople Venues Team and stakeholders.

The Venue Strategy Assistant will play a key role in data gathering, report production, site guide development and meeting preparation. They will gain exposure across a variety of venue types while contributing to the maximisation of commercial income and asset value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse venue and portfolio performance against agreed targets.
  • Support the assessment of current commercialisation income across designated centres, as directed by the Venue Strategy & Partnership Manager.
  • Support the production of reports for portfolio clients, internal stakeholders and other venues managed as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of commercialisation insights reports, which include performance commentary and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to ensure consistency and transparency across the portfolio.
  • Assist with the preparation of high-quality presentation materials for internal & external meetings, site reviews, and strategy sessions.
  • Support the identification and tracking of commercialisation initiatives to drive effective sales via SpaceandPeople’s services.
  • Attend meetings where appropriate, taking notes and supporting follow‑up actions and reporting.
  • Assist with the development and upkeep of detailed sales materials & supporting documentation for centres available for sale by SpaceandPeople.
  • Ensure site information, opportunities and commercial terms are accurate, current and presented in a market‑ready format.
  • Provide support in communications between SpaceandPeople’s Venues Team and external Venue Management Teams on commercialisation matters.
  • Assist with coordinating site visits, meetings, and review sessions, including logistics and documentation.

Skills and Experience

  • Good analytical capability with confidence working with spreadsheets, figures and performance data.
  • Experience supporting report writing, presentations or consultancy-style documentation (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills – confident and credible when engaging with internal teams and clients, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Well organised, detail‑focused and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
  • Track record of working to deadlines.

Job title: Retail Development Manager – Pop-Up Retail

We are seeking a commercially driven and proactive Retail Development Manager to join our expanding Pop-Up Retail division. This role focuses on selling our fast-growing Rock Up and Pop Up service—an end-to-end solution that enables brands to retail their products in premium commercial spaces across the UK’s leading shopping centres. You will be responsible for driving new business, managing a strong sales pipeline, and supporting the Head of Department in ensuring seamless operational delivery, all within a fast-paced and client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business across a diverse client base, including start-ups, online retailers, high-street brands, and F&B operators
  • Drive revenue through proactive outbound sales, leasing activity, and canvassing
  • Build, manage, and maintain an accurate CRM system and sales pipeline, ensuring all activity, opportunities, and forecasting are up to date
  • Monitor pipeline performance to ensure consistent deal progression and conversion
  • Attend industry events to build relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Understand client requirements and deliver tailored commercial solutions
  • Prepare and present high-quality proposals to prospective clients
  • Deliver impeccable customer service, building strong and lasting client relationships
  • Provide excellent after-sales care to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Support the Head of Department in ensuring smooth operational delivery of all pop-up activations
