CASE STUDY: Ishvari by Renu Modha move from concession retail to mid-mall retail at Westfield London with Rock Up and Pop Up

BACKGROUND

  • Ishvari by Renu Modha is a Lancashire-based accessories retailer that designs and produces a range of textiles including scarves, bags and gloves
  • The retailer has previously held a concession within John Lewis and currently operates from their showroom within Heskin Hall Shopping Village, Chorley

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • Trial pop-up shops within top UK shopping centres
  • Establish a longer-term retail presence by moving from concession retail to mid-mall pop-up retail

EXECUTION

  • Work with SpaceandPeople to trial retailing in mid-mall location – initially in The Trafford Centre and subsequently Westfield London

RESULTS

  • Ishvari by Renu Modha have now been operating successfully within Westfield London since October 2023
  • Consistent sales results within Westfield London, averaging £14,000 monthly in 2023
  • Busy festive period 2023 with an 18% increase in sales from Nov-Dec 2023
  • Increase in website visitors and sales following the launch of Westfield London pop-up
