CASE STUDY: Royal Veterinary College Engage With 350 People During 1-Day London King’s Cross Station Promotion
BACKGROUND
- The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is the UK’s largest and longest-established independent vet school. They are also a Member Institution of the University of London. The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, and biological sciences.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
- Engage with young members of the public and educate on Pet First Aid skills
- Promote career paths into the veterinary field and spark an interest in the next generation
- Inform the public about their upcoming Night at the Vet College event which showcases their innovative research through practical activities in their labs
EXECUTION
- One-day promotional and informational event at London King’s Cross Station
- Various activities available for the public to engage with including learning bandaging skills and how to take a dog’s pulse using a CPR dog model
RESULTS
- The RVC had a successful promotional event with the team engaging with 350 people during the course of the day
