BACKGROUND
- Young Driver offers children aged 10 to 17 the opportunity to have their first
taste of proper driving in a Vauxhall Corsa.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF YOUNG DRIVER POP-UP
- Foster a positive attitude to driving through fun and safe experiences and lessons
so that young drivers can get a head start before even applying for a provisional
licence.
EXECUTION
- Young Driver offers a friendly, well-organised set-up, using dual-controlled cars
on private land with UK Government-approved instructors. - The company organises a series of one day events at over 70 venues throughout
the UK including Lakeside Shopping Centre, MetroCentre, Braehead, Chantry
Place and Cambridge Leisure Park. - A course is set up in a closed section of the car park for children to drive around.
RESULTS
- Currently operating in a range of locations throughout the UK including a number
of key shopping centres which are booked through SpaceandPeople
