Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Beer rolled out the ginger carpet in Liverpool Lime Street train station earlier this month in celebration of the Grand National Festival. Race goers were invited to strut their stuff down the Crabbies Catwalk while en route to Aintree to parade their best outfits for Ladies Day. It wasn’t just the ladies that posed and pouted down the catwalk, the men brought some serious style too! From fascinators to Ray Bans, clutch bags to cravats every guy and gal managed to epitomise that classic Grand National style.

The ginger catwalk was dominated by stag and hen weekenders showing everyone how to have a great time! The end of the catwalk was fitted with an interactive mirror which took the final shot of the strutting race-goers before they went on their way. The mirror wasn’t the only interactive part of this experiential promotion, Crabbies tweeted and hash-tagged their way straight to the finish line throughout the Grand National.

Crabbies had an immense presence on social media during this time with the hash-tags  #GiveItSomeGinger and #CGN16, the sponsors received a great response with many Aintree attendees using the hashtags and the ginger carpet making everyone feel like a star.
