Christmas has officially arrived at Glasgow Fort with the launch of its magical Christmas market.
The Glasgow Fort Christmas market runs throughout the Christmas period and includes a Nutcracker-themed display. There are sparkling Christmas trees, a grandfather clock and various stalls and a vintage carousel for children.
Santa’s sleigh is also stopping at the venue, giving shoppers the chance to a snap a selfie and share it online using #GlasgowFortChristmas for a chance to win a filled stocking.
Entertainment includes Snow Queen and Snow Wolf stilt walkers roaming the venue. There will also be wandering characters from the famous Nutcracker ballet.
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “As one of the biggest shopping and leisure destinations in Scotland, we welcome people from across the country over the festive period. It really is a magical time of year and we think everything we have planned will really bring the essence of Christmas to life.
Glasgow Fort’s Christmas opening hours run from 17 – 23 December, with the centre open from 9am – midnight every day.
