Doughnut experts Krispy Kreme launched their Halloween range with a pumpkin patch in London Waterloo Station on 19 October, 2015. With a white picket fence, green turf, pumpkins and lots of scattered doughnuts; visitors were invited into the patch to enjoy a free doughnut from the Krispy Kreme farm boy and girl. In true Halloween spirit however, two apparently inanimate pumpkin-head scarecrows sprung to life at opportune moments, frightening the pumpkin patch guests to the delight of passersby. The doughnuts were all decorated with scary faces and successfully brought the joy of Halloween to Waterloo whilst promoting Krispy Kreme brand values; “be fun, be simple be genuine, be craveable and be good-hearted”.
