SpaceandPeople, market leaders in providing space for brands, agencies and retailers to connect with audiences in venues throughout the UK and Europe, is delighted to announce a further five year exclusive contract with Network Rail (“NR”). The contract is for the management of exhibitions, events, promotions and sampling at the managed stations within the portfolio.

The continuation of the contract will see SpaceandPeople maintain the exclusive management of a wide variety of activities on NR’s concourses, including offering brands and agencies access to unparalleled experiential and sampling space at their 19 stations nationwide. With stations including London Waterloo, London King’s Cross, London Victoria, Manchester Piccadilly and Edinburgh Waverley, the contract with NR will represent a potential weekly footfall of over 12 million visitors per week.

Today, rail stations and transport hubs are being transformed into destinations in their own right. This creates potential for brands and businesses to create unique in-station experiential, retail and ‘pop up’ activations, tapping into a wide ranging audience of Network Rail customers.

Upon completion of the new contract, Nancy Cullen, CEO of SpaceandPeople said: “We are absolutely delighted to have retained this prestigious contract and look forward to continuing to develop and grow our partnership with NR. Our exclusive relationship enables us to offer some of the highest footfall and most sought after venues in the UK to brands and agencies seeking to engage with their target audience.”

Hamish Kiernan, Commercial Director at Network Rail Property, added: “We’re pleased to continue our work with SpaceandPeople, which has delivered some incredible exhibitions over the years. We’re here to improve customer experience in our stations; exciting exhibitions and giveaways feed into that. Any revenue generated across our portfolio is invested back into the railway, meaning this partnership will deliver for passengers in more ways than one.”
