London Waterloo Station welcomes Doug Hyde’s One Love sculpture for one-day art installation

On Friday August 11th August, Doug Hyde’s ‘One Love’ sculpture was installed at London Waterloo Station to promote the artist’s 20th anniversary collection in association with Clarendon Fine Art!

British artist Doug Hyde has produced two-metre tall ‘One Love’ animated sculptures in his signature style that will be on tour over Summer 2023 in various locations across the UK. The One Love sculptures were created by Doug Hyde to celebrate inclusivity and positivity. The sculptures are striking and depict a person holding a large reflective heart. The sculpture provided a great talking point and selfie opportunity for passengers passing through the station!

The team were at Waterloo Station bright and early to install the impressive sculpture, their install can be viewed below!

The one-day installation was a great success with Cem Davis, Network Rail’s London Waterloo Station Manager saying:

“We’re really pleased to host this fantastic sculpture at London Waterloo station, and it seems very apt being one of the UK’s busiest stations at the heart of the capital. We’re always finding ways to promote diversity and inclusion through the railway and our stations are key assets that allow us to do this through various events and exhibitions.”
